Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club 32nd Annual Holiday Home Tour Opens Doors for Community 2

The Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club invites the public to enjoy a fun-filled day of design and beauty, entertainment, education and culture at its 32nd Annual Holiday Home Tour and Boutique, taking place next month on Sunday, November 12. The Club’s annual home tour showcases architecturally distinct and beautiful homes that celebrate the unique, gracious and diverse lifestyle of the beautiful Pacific Palisades community while benefiting the Club’s philanthropic endeavors.

“The tour will be inspiring and educational while raising funds to support our community,” says PPWC President Catherine Ruddy. “It is a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy an uplifting day celebrating the joys of living in Pacific Palisades.”

This year’s event features an inside look at three breathtaking area homes, including the iconic 1926 Villa Leon, Pacific Palisades’ own “Castle by the Sea.” Two beautiful Italian exotic cars will be parked outside the Villa, courtesy of The Auto Gallery, with a representative available to talk with visitors. At another home on the tour, guests will have the opportunity to get inside a Tesla for a test ride, as well as enter a raffle for a “Tesla for a Weekend.”

Shopping, Food & Fun

Home tour guests will also get the chance to jump start their holiday shopping at the Holiday Boutique, located in Mercer Hall at Palisades Charter High School, at 15777 Bowdoin Street, in Pacific Palisades. The boutique offers unique and special gifts and accessories for everyone on your shopping list. And outside the Boutique, popular local groups, including Fancy Feet Dancers, Greg Alper’s Youth Jazz Band and the Adderley School of Performing Arts, will entertain guests throughout the event.

Participants will want to stay energized for a full day of visiting beautiful, inspiring homes and holiday shopping by enjoying the event’s featured food and coffee trucks: the Beignet (freshly made beignets and coffee), the Lobster Truck and the Mapuche (serving Argentinian fare).

Free parking will be available at Palisades High School, where guests can enjoy free shuttle service from Mercer Hall to the featured homes and back. Please note that the homes on the tour are only accessible by van shuttle and are not handicap accessible.

Full Circle

The Holiday Home Tour is the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club’s most significant fundraiser of the year, and proceeds from the event benefit the area’s many charitable, service and educational organizations through the Club’s Grant Award program. Over the years, the Club has awarded over $1 million in grant funds to charitable organizations in the areas of arts, recreation, beautification, education and community.

“WE ARE EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO THROW A COMMUNITY PARTY WHERE LOCAL FAMILIES HAVE BEEN PERSUADED TO SHARE THEIR HOMES, THEIR HARD WORK AND ARTISTIC EFFORTS TO INSPIRE OTHERS AND TO RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS,” SAYS RUDDY.

Since its inception in 1925, the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club has been dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of life in the Pacific Palisades community. The vibrant, multi-generational Club’s 120+ members comprise inspiring, empowered women from all walks of life, including lawyers, pilots, nurses, CPAs, therapists and more, who donate their time and resources to enhance and support the educational, cultural and social well-being of Pacific Palisades. Living up to their unofficial motto of “fun, friendship and philanthropy,” PPWC members build lifelong friendships while serving the community and having a great time.
