A Night of Comedy

Join the Palisades community at this special Night of Comedy celebrating Chamber CEO Arnie Wishnick and inducting new Honorary Mayors Janice and Billy Crystal. This first-of-its-kind fundraising event features cocktails, nibbles and especially laughs, as outgoing Palisades Honorary Mayor Kevin Nealon ends his term and celebrates Pacific Palisades’ “fearless leader,” Arnie Wishnick. Under Arnie’s leadership, the Chamber has worked to better the Palisades’ way of life and unique character. Calling All Student Artists

Submissions for the 2018 Student Art Exhibit, scheduled to be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, are being accepted from Jan. 29-Feb. 7. The art show is open to students in Grades K-12 to showcase their artwork. Each student may submit one work of art; all mediums accepted. All artwork must be mounted, matted or framed, and entrants must complete two entry forms. The student art exhibit is non-judged. The Vision Boards Workshop with Makers Mess takes place Friday, Feb. 9, at the Michael Landon Community Center, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway. Help make those New Year’s resolutions come to fruition by creating a vision—a powerful tool for visualizing what’s truly important in life. A vision board helps to generate an artistic, big-picture representation of the key aspects in life.
